Looking to ignite a love of reading in your classroom, school library, or community space?
My interactive author sessions bring Cami and the Lost Letters to life in a joyful, engaging way to support early literacy development and build reading confidence – especially in children who are still finding their way with words.
Each session is designed to support curriculum goals while nurturing a positive, empowering relationship with reading – especially for children who might find it challenging.
Whether you’re in Sydney or would like to arrange a virtual visit, I’d love to bring Cami’s story to your learning space.
“Year 1 classes were so excited to meet our Author Pen Pal Jenny Marshall! We have had fun exchanging letters with Jenny and participating in a special colouring competition she created for us. We were extra lucky she was able to visit us at school and read her new book Cami and the Lost Letters to us.
At the visit we shared with Jenny how much we all love to read! Jenny explained that sometimes reading can be tricky and it is like going on a magical adventure to unlock a story and learn to read. After the story Jenny answered lots of our questions about the book and being an author.
Many of our Year 1s are aspiring authors already and showed her some of their own books they had made.
Thanks so much for visiting us Jenny and for being our Author Pen Pal!”
