Children don’t need to learn to read before starting school. But exposure to letters and sounds and sharing stories in the preschool years may have a profound impact. My resources have been carefully designed to engage, educate and entertain young learners. They’re adaptable, evidence-based and low prep – perfect for busy teachers and parents.

The Story of Cami
When children are identified as falling below grade expectation in reading they may be given additional opportunities to practise decoding. When this is ineffective, further investigation often reveals that these learners haven’t mastered phonological awareness or alphabetic knowledge. Without these foundational skills, it can be difficult to move beginning readers along. So it’s important to close this gap. Learn to Read with Cami resources have been created to support young learners in developing these critical early literacy skills.
